Eastern Kingbirds, one taking flight, on a barbwire fence on a bright Montana morning.

With dark gray upperparts and a neat white tip to the tail, the Eastern Kingbird looks like it’s wearing a business suit. The eastern kingbird (Tyrannus tyrannus) is a large tyrant flycatcher native to North America. It will chase away larger birds to protect it's territory.
